I'd like to be able to set the width of the vertical tab bar by dragging its border.

It's been on the list for a long time, but it's finally available:

  • New: Tabs: For vertical tabs, a splitter bar is now shown. Click to resize tabs

(in v122d to be released soon)

This is great to have, thanks!  Two points:

(1) the splitter will not appear until the Vertical Tab Width option is set to something other than 0 (automatic width setting).

(2) When it appears, the bottom of the splitter bar is about halfway down the vertical tab bar, and from there it extends up all the way up beyond the top of the window, beyond the uppermost tab, and through the toolbars, the main menu, the window title bar, and the window under the IQ window.

  1. Yes, in auto-width, there is no vertical bar. It was the default but it no longer is
  2. Perhaps report back the screen mode (resolution, scaling) as it works fine here. I tested with odd toolbar and pane positions, but also supply a screenshot if you can

In Help > About >Support Info, can you report back the reported DPI? You need to click and scroll down to view it

Also, could it be that you have more than one screen and they have different scaling?
