I've created this hierarchy (and many others) in the tags grid, but this hierarchy isn't showing up in the tags pane, even though I have Tree View selected and even though I have clicked Refresh List in the tags pane context menu. Any suggestions? (sorry for the bad formatting, I pasted from IQ and it doesn't show up very well here).

Hi Jim,
Can you provide screenshots of the Tag grid (with the Tags and TagID column visible and one for the Tags pane?
thanks
Hi Pierre, as soon as I…
Hi Pierre, as soon as I added the Tags and TagID columns to the tags grid, I saw that the Tags field was unchecked for the items that weren't showing up in the tags pane. I checked the Tags field checkbox for these items and they immediately showed up in the tags pane. (Can't remember if I did a Refresh List or not.) Anyway this fixed the problem. No clue how the Tags checkbox got unchecked, although I did do some rearranging of the tags hierarchy, e.g. I had Products as a child of Purchases, and I changed this to make Purchases a child of Products. Delighted that the fix was so easy!

Oh ... light just went on ... if you create an item in the tags grid as a subitem, the Tags field does not get checked. Only if it is created as a TLI does the Tags field get checked. Just as an item created in any other grid. Right?

This part of the hierarchy I made in the tags grid does show up in the tags pane:
But this should be showing up under Products > Purchases > Computers_and_Electronics > Hardware_Items. The Products tag appears without any child tags, and the Purchases, Computers_and_Electronics, and Hardware_Items tags aren't showing up at all in the Tags Pane. It seems the lower part of the hierarchy is showing up but not the higher part. I've tried Expand All, Expand Branch (on the Products tag),
I've tried refreshing the tags grid (as well as the tags pane), closing and reopening the tags pane, the tags grid, and I've tried shutting down and restarting IQ, with no effect.
Now I just elevated Purchases in the Tags Grid to be a TLI tag, and it showed up in the Tag Pane. Computers_and_Electronics should show up under Purchases, but it isn't there. But then after elevating tags to be TLIs, I tried remaking the intended hierarchy, and when I made these items subitems again, they disappear from the Tags Pane.

In my file, for the Tags grid, I have the following fields set to auto-assign: Tags, ItemLocked
Perhaps check your
"Keep source field values…
"Keep source field values when dragging out or demoting TLI" was unchecked. Maybe that was the source of my problem? I just checked it, good idea?
