InfoQube helpfully remembers which sub-nodes are expanded and which are collapsed, so if I collapse and then expand a parent item, the expand/collapse state of the children is retained. However, what if I want to collapse all items in a grid, such that when I expand a parent item the children will initially be collapsed? Is there a way to do this?
How do I ?

Not quite, but when you want to expand, Ctrl+1/2/3/4... will do just about the same thing

Good point, that does do almost the same thing. I was thinking there might be a way to "clear" IQ's memory of expand/collapse states, but the method you mention here works.
(By the way, is there a reason that shortcuts like the one you mention here, which are also included in the IQ documentation, don't show up with the "View All Shortcuts" command?)

re Shortcuts: Indeed, the View All shortcuts give the list of shortcuts managed by the main UI, which can be configured in the Customize dialog. There are no commands for Ctrl+1/2/3... There are fixed shortcuts and a form: the Show Levels pane
I agree, this could be improved 😩

Ah, that makes sense. It's not a problem at all. It seems like the simplest fix would be to just change the menu option to something more precise like, "View All Configurable Shortcuts", but it's fine as is.
