Suggestion.

A more powerful lock option. Currently lock prevents deletion.

A more powerful lock feature would prevent an item being moved .

Sometimes I have outlines that have dependencies above and below on the outline.

I would like to be able lock them as they are  (but still allow editing)

Something akin to making a editable PDF of the outline.

I once hit sort by accident and my very carefully crafted outline (800+ items)  turned to mush. Undo wasn't available. I was rather upset <smile>

Hi Maxbear35,

To keep item order, in the past, users have used an "order" column and sorted by this column. This works well and is still a good backup. Use Edit > Renumber to fill he column.

Now of course, IQ remembers item order much better. The trick is to set the grid sort to "None - manual"
