I know we can import OPML files into Infoqube into an existing IQ database, and that's great, but you might consider enabling IQ to become a default viewer/editor for OPML files. Right now there doesn't seem to be a good modern app for this purpose -
How to Open, Edit, and Convert OPML Files-https://www.lifewire.com/opml-file-2622105
When I double-clicked an OPML file, I got the usual Windows "Open With" dialog. I selected Infoqube to see what would happen. IQ assumes that you're trying to open up an OPML IQ Backup file, and I see the following messages:
Since IQ already has good abilities to import from and export to OPML, perhaps it wouldn't be a huge leap to enable to IQ to serve this purpose. Perhaps it would also open up opportunities for IQ to operate with external OPML files, e.g. to display them in the document pane etc. OPML files could sometimes be a more capable option than plain text files in some cases. I sometimes wonder why the OPML format hasn't become more widely used.

Here is a list of programs that work with OPML. It might be worthwhile to add InfoQube to it.

Thanks Cyganet - following the instructions on that page, I added a post to the thread saying that IQ supports importing and exporting OPML. Funny how many of them view OPML as an Import/Export format only, not as a native Open/Save/Save As format. There should be a good Windows app for that. Also would be good to have a preview handler for such files, so that they would appear properly in the preview pane of File Explorer and other file managers / searchers.
