Would it be possible to add an option to disable the floating red close button that appears when one hovers their mouse over a tab?
I have made my tabs as small as possible, and there is now a greater risk that I will accidentally click the floating red close button when I attempt to click on a tab with the intent of viewing the tab.
Thanks for considering this suggestion.

My understanding is that option 1.1.5.13 toggles the close button on the tab, rather than the floating red close button that appears only when I hover my mouse over the tab. I had previously unchecked this option (to make my tabs smaller), but the floating red close button still appears.

My suggestion would be to allow for the option of having neither the close button (which makes each tab wider) nor the floating X button (which introduces the risk of accidentally closing the tab when trying to view the tab).
