Hi IQ Users !

The highlight of v1.125 was the first step in achieving Obsidian 2-way Sync. 
With v1.126 we're taking a pause to add some long standing features and fixes before embarking on v1.127 which will provide Obsidian to IQ sync.

In v1.126.4:

  1. New: Grid: Top level item order is saved on every change (when grid is set to manual sort)
  2. New: Grid: Option to set the vertical padding. Separate settings for when cell wordwrap is On and Off (Tools > Options > Grid)
  3. New: Grid and Doc pane: Back color with nothing selected now applies it to the word
  4. New: Grid: WYSIWYG editor: Grow / Shrink font size command now work while editing
  5. New: Grid: WYSIWYG editor: Font dialog now shows the correct font name and size
  6. New: Grid: Changing a column header caption no longer changes it in all other grids. Users can now change the caption of any column, including the "Item" column
  7. New: Grid: Grid groups are now shown in the tab tooltip
  8. New: Grid: Ctrl+Home/End: Option to move the focus based on the hierarchy
  9. New: Calendar: Option to Show week numbers
  10. New: Live-Search: Search string is automatically highlighted in the Doc pane
  11. New: Doc pane: Highlight all instances of the search term
  12. New: Doc pane: Clean up command now preserves number/bullet styles and numbering
  13. New: Doc pane: Clean-up can now be done on selected text only
  14. New: Doc pane / Item Editor: Edit > Paste: HTML Format (sanitized) entry. Cleans up the HTML
  15. New: Find / Filter dialog: Search string is automatically highlighted in the Doc pane
  16. New: Fields: Equations and Auto-assign rules can include the value of the main parent using this syntax: [Parent.SomeField]
  17. New: Properties pane: Better support for Dark mode
  18. New: Google and Obsidian connect: Support for Dark mode
  19. New: Obsidian Sync: Sync is now in a separate thread to improve UI responsiveness
  20. Change: Google Connect dialog: Improved UI
  21. Fixed: Grid: Favorites were not saved if the grid is open
  22. Fixed: Grid: Item text color did not always work
  23. Fixed: Grid: If "Highlight the selected item" is unchecked, drag-drop operations did not work
  24. Fixed: Grid: If "Highlight the selected item" is unchecked, Auto-Search did not work correctly (F3 to show next instance)
  25. Fixed: Grid: Document mode: level 1 items has no expand button
  26. Fixed: Grid: Sometimes, change to field values were not shown in the grid immediately (required a refresh)
  27. Fixed: Grid: Drag-drop from the Doc pane to the grid sometimes added extra line breaks
  28. Fixed: Grid: Group-by now support dark mode
  29. Fixed: Changing grid groups was sometimes not saved
  30. Fixed: Doc pane: Removing text color did not always work
  31. Fixed: Doc pane: Search highlighting did not work when the search string contained certain characters (such as > and %)
  32. Fixed: Doc pane: When switching to Code view, recent changes were sometimes not saved
  33. Fixed: Properties pane: Ctrl+A did not work (selected all items in the grid)
  34. Fixed: NavBar: Grid icons were incorrect
  35. Fixed: Find Filter dialog: Show in search grid did not work if the search string was enclosed with quotes
  36. Fixed: Dropbox Sync: Didn't work across time zones
  37. Fixed: Tools > Options > Expand / Collapse button types did not work
  38. Fixed: On Windows 11, opening Notepad could lock the system for approx 5-10 seconds

Thanks for this! #2 is a big one. For example, there are cases in which I want child items to receive the tag(s) of parent items, so this should be possible now. And it looks like column equations also now have the ability draw on parent item values, which is great.

  3. Change: Grid: Pasting text into multiple cells no longer shows confirmation dialog. Use Undo (Ctrl+Z ) to cancel paste if needed
  4. Fixed: Grid: Group-by now support dark mode
  5. Fixed: Properties pane: Ctrl+A did not work (selected all items in the grid)
  6. Fixed: On Windows 11, opening Notepad could lock the system for approx 5-10 seconds
