When I set up an all day item, 1h is showing next to the text of the item. Also 1.0 hrs appears next to the date. If the item has no time assigned to it, why should this occur?

Good question.  Once upon a time it displayed 24hrs. Then Pierre did something & now it shows 1hr. i asked about that too. Doesn't make sense.

This was supposed to be fixed in today's PreRel 1 but apparently not...

Re: Version 0.9.25 is coming...

Improvements in the new version:
  1. New: Can select multiple items in the Calendar and hit the Delete key to delete all of them
  2. bugfix: deleting a date in a grid does not remove it from the Calendar
  3. New: select a bunch of dates (e.g. imported appointments from Ecco) and right-click: Create event. Will create Calendar events for each
  4. Improvements: Long delay when adding some events
  5. Bugfix: New all-day event would have duration=24hrs  <========================================================================
  6. Improvements: If Duration=0, Duration is not shown in the Calendar
  7. DateFilter: Show when using user-defined duration
  8. DateFilter: Added the > operator
  9. When adding items at the bottom of a window, item is sometimes hidden
  10. Selective "Export - [of html pane] - to Web page"
Available using the above download link. I'll also be releasing it as Pre-Rel 1 later on today

When I add a new all-day event, duration is not set. I'm doing it using the Calendar, day view, dragging my mouse in the upper part.

Are you creating this some other way?

 Pierre,
I'm creating using the "Appointment and Event Details" entry screen, then checking the "All day event" box. On 1-day (or 5 or 7) view shows up at top of day with a 1h duration and the day shows a 1.0h total time (or other entry total plus 1h if there are multiple entries).

I believe this happens because of an auto-assign rule in the Appointements field. Turn it off or delete the rule

That seems to be the fix. Thanks, Pierre.

There's a bug there, too.

Drag to top portion of calendar.
When dialog opens call it test. Test is all day event
no duration is shown

right click on this all day item
select delete
it converts to an event that has a 1 hr duration.

right click > delete the 1hr item = nothing happens
dbl click on item opens dialog & focuses on item which can now be deleted after closing dialog

Added starter: When I d / d onto all day event area, fill in dialog for all day event & save, the event does not show a duration in the calendar @ first but within 5-10 secs it changes to 1 hr duration
