I think this has been reported before.

Today I created several new items (clipped data) saved as MHT
When I focused on the item (nothing displayed in HTML pane)
When I shifted to another tab & returned I could see the content
Tried again & added new items same way as above
Now that I had several items w data in html panes I shifted between items
content in HTML pane did not shift as I changed focus from one item to another

Hi Jan,

I don't think I've had this problem in a long while. However, what happens is that when an MHT file is quite big or contains some flash etc., it can take a while to load.

When you wait for a few seconds, the content doesn't appear ? If not are there some steps we could perform to reproduce the problem ?

Thanks !

The content does not appear even after a few seconds
The steps are described above
I think the problem only occurs with newly clipped data, i.e. user clips a number of selections and then clicks item to review data for the first time.
Once the data is registered, i.e. b shifting back & forth between other grids or closing / re-opening IQ, the problem ceases to exist.
In my case, these were not large, complex documents I clipped, nor was any flash involved.
It may be the refresh problem.

Here's what I did :

1- opened IQ and a grid called "Reference" and the HTML pane.
2- opened a web page and selected some text
3- Pressed win-c to invoke the universal clipper.
4- In the dialog I made sure my source field  "Reference" was set in "Other field"
5- I clicked on "Add".

I repeated the same steps 4 times. But I Unchecked "Save as MHT" for 2 of the 4 clips.

6- I focussed on the "Reference" grid and refreshed it to see the new items.
7- new items appeared at the top (sort filter was set as itemcreated desc)
8- I clicked on the first item. HTML content appeared.

HTML content appeared for all subsequent items.

I also tried with MHT only items : HTML content appeared, no problem.

So, basically, I wasn't able to reproduce the problem.

There must be a step I'm missing somewhere : maybe the pane needs to be closed before I clip items ? Or maybe all grids should be closed and then opened after the clipping ?

Tks for testing,  Armando. I think you've covered it. Like many of the things I post about, it will eventually show up again.
