The forthcoming Google Calendar sync will provide remote access of events and tasks. What about grids ?

One easy to implement way is using Dropbox-like services:
  1. A grid would be marked as Synced
  2. User would supply a path for the auto-generated HTML export of the grid
  3. Export would be done on file>>close (all grids) or on Grid>>Save (current one only)
  4. User would use an IPhone-like app to view this file. The Dropbox Iphone app is particularly nice, as it allows local storage of the file, plus it warns you when the server version is more recent, so the local copy can be updated
  5. Expand / collapse works on most mobile web browsers

I think it's a very good idea -- especially that it's simple.

You also said once that it would be possible to send notes to the database using e-mail. That would be a nice complement.

Eventually, it would be interesting to find out if it would be possible to have some way of directly reading the IQbase and making changes, using a pda (iPod, etc.)  -- maybe through some web interface (users would register and would be able to remotely make some changes to their items), or some iOS grid component.

P.S. Applications like ZumoCast can stream almost any PC file and send them to an installed viewer -- the user can choose which one. (Try ZumoCast... It's damn cool!)

Any time a program offers the ability to see / use / interface with synced information in a variety of venues, I think it's a good idea.

Just as an aside, when ADM was in development, they used Skype IM for live interaction between users, i.e. user 'A' could send properly formatted data directly to user 'B'. It would pop up on the screen almost instantaneously.

I would prefer to see greater use of Android since it is universal.

Also Palm -- now HPalm -- is able to sync directly between smart phone & google calendar (nothing in between).
