As far as I can tell, hierarchical relationships are 'read only' except when manually adding children to an item. But it would be cool if there were some way to create automatic hierarchical relationships, either be automatically assigning a certain parent to certain children, or visa versa (sort of along the lines of 'Agents' in Tinderbox, although that feature has a number of other shortcomings).

 

Does this make sense, and would there be any way to do it?
