Hi,
D Bartlett here on the blog forum (hopefully this does show up) for the first time. ECCO user since it's beginnings in the 1990's, discovered IQ this summer and switched to it from ECCO totally and completely this past Aug. Great program, I'm sure I'll be continually learning more about it's power and possibilities for a long time yet, BUT - MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE IS PRINTING. I am accustomed to sending a file to print, from within whatever program, and it prints - it isn't that straightfoward for me in IQ.
This morning for instance, trying to print a screen-width hoisted-item grid-c/w-gantt-chart on 1 landscape-oriented legal-size page . . . with WYSIWYG the best I could ever achieve was a 2-page print out (which presentation-wise did not work for me), I could not figure out a way to instruct the print program to output to one single page . . . I finally had to use SnagIt to take a snapshot of the screen and print that instead.
So The Need To Print Virtually Always Stops Me Dead In My Ouptut Tracks. I've studied all the related on-line documentation I can find and nothing has made the printing process any easier for me. Does anybody have any big picture tips/tricks/hints/clues/pointers for me???
thanks much
D Bartlett
