I created a new item via <CTRL>N
added the item title, entered copy in the data entry area
saved item
After item was saved I realized I needed to add more data
The only option I see to edit is via word, etc.
Comment / Question:
Is this to tell me that I have to buy "Word" to edit in IQ?
If so, I think that's ridiculous
I have Open Office Writer & can save to html but when I do that the edited page does not display
So what other choices do I have? Is this a bug? Is there any way to imbed / display a .doc or .txt file within an html page? While I'm sure there are advantages to having an html pane vs a MIME viewer / browser combo like in URp, I'm beginning to find this HTML pane a bit daunting for common tasks.
Edited 01/14/09 11:04 am: I see there is an icon for something called blocknote so I d/l it but don't see how to link it to the icon & don't know whether it will solve the problem for me. Also see I can open document in word pad or text editor but as I don't know html, it's a mystery to me how to format any edits / changes, etc.
Sorry, I sound like I'm whining but I think I could be a typical user in a wider market.
Thanks
