This is minor, but I had a good look in the manual, but couldn't find what's permitted in Grid names.

IQ 85a / Win.7
I caused a crash by creating a grid using an ampersand - '&' e.g. O&E

I got the error:
---------------------------
InfoQube
---------------------------
Error opening grid. Check grid source criteria.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Then IQ crashed.
On restart, the grid is there, it shows in list as:
OE

In manage grids dialogue, it shows as:
O&E with [O&E] as the source -- but I still get the error message on opening it.

(NOTE: this is just to let you know -- I'm going to delete the grid.)

Hi Tom,

I updated the documentation. There was an issue with some characters which is fixed in v86:
  • Fixed: Some valid characters were causing issues when creating a new grid
