Version 0.9.26Pre-Rel6 is now available !

In this version:

  1. Fixed: More robust method to save grid column list (see Disappearing columns are still with us. v9.26 pre-release4&5&6 ** VERY ANNOYING ** PLEASE FIX THIS !!! )
  2. Fixed: Field formatting (such as custom date formats) was broken in the previous version (see not working ??)
  3. Fixed: Split item and Join items menu items were always enabled. Now, they are only enabled when applicable
  4. New: New dialog when joining items. Option to merge the HTML content. Option to keep only the joined item. Merging HTML is particular useful when grabbing Web content. Multiple grabs can then be combined into a single item

Enjoy !

Pierre,

I'm sorry to inform you that item #1

is NOT fixed.

I opened my grid which only contained the TLI's
I added columns via context menu "Add/Remove columns"
Then I set about arranging those columns.
The item column was the 3rd column by the time I finished re-arranging so I marked it the outline column via context menu "Set Tree column"
I noticed that I had included an extraneous column and needed another one so I hid the extraneous column & used "Add/Remove columns" to add the missing column
I clicked "OK" in the field dialog
All OTHER columns except for the item column & the one that I added as an after thought vanished !!

12/07/12 bumped: I think this last experience has something to do w saving

Hi Jan,

I'm not able to reproduce the issue. Has it happened more than once ? Can you reproduce it ?

Thanks for you help !

Pierre, I fixed it by saving as I made changes. I'll have to spend more time on it over the wknd but following the same steps -- as long as I forced a save this did not repeat.

I need to back track to PreRel 6 but inadvertantly deleted the file locally. Can someone either shoot me a copy or to a good URL?
Thanks.
