Unlike my last question about text limits in cells, this is one that I would like to see addressed, if possible.
As discussed previously, I'm working on a project that requires copying text from PDF's into InfoQube. As suggested by Pierre, I've found that the most efficient way to accomplish this tedious task is to copy a whole page of text at a time, then split it up inside InfoQube.
If splitting text was an occasional task, I wouldn't be mentioning this but when you're doing for hours at a time, any step-saving is welcome.
Suggestion #1: Keep the grid view in the same position after an item is split. After an item split, InfoQube refreshes the screen and puts the currently selected item at or near the bottom of the screen, which means I have to scroll down after each split. If the item is at the top of the screen before the split, it should remain at the top of the screen after the split.
Suggestion #2: after a split, switch focus to the split item instead of remaining on the original item. This isn't as important as #1. It would help with what I'm doing, but it might not suit everyone.
