This is weird.  I double-clicked my "Voice Recorders" Y/N field in the All Fields list, and this is what popped up in the Scratch grid.  The header for the Scratch grid shows "Items from: Voice Recorders", but the Items shown in the grid are not assigned to that field (Voice Recorders is not hidden from the Properties pane, and it is not shown in the Values section.)  Instead I see items that are assigned to the "Drive - SSD" field.  I looked at the Field ID numbers in the Field Properties dialog.  "Drive - SSD" has field ID 640, and "Voice Recorders" has field ID 643.  Any clues what's going on here?

Update - When I double-click the "Voice Recorders" field in the All Fields sectiion with the "Flat View" selected, the "Drive - SSD" items are displayed in the Scratch grid, as I said above.
But when I double-click the "Voice Recorders" field in the "Tree View" (Computers and Electronics > Hardware Items > Audio > Voice Recorders), the Scratch grid correctly displays the items assigned to the Voice Recorders field.

Hi Jim,

I was able to reproduce it under one case only:
  • Scratch grid is shown in the tab workspace but hasn't been shown yet (or shown but afterwards data was unloaded
In this case, it opens with the same items as the previous list of items but the source bar shows the new list of item. Pressing F5 (refresh) fixes this glitch

Fixed in v109:

Thanks Pierre!  I should have thought to try F5.
