1. Everytime, i clip something from firefox I need to refresh the grid to see the item. Can this be fixed ?
2. Also, if i have the IDItem field displayed, as new items are added, the IDItem field does not show a value for the new items and in this case too the grid needs to be refreshed.
3. When something is clipped, is it possible to specify where the clipping should go to ? Like to a particular highlighted item in the grid rather than at the end ?

I know 1 & 2 are planned but dont know for when;
3 you cant (currently anyway!) add a new web-clipping to a current item. I think I misunderstood you there - no, what you want is not currently possible.
Easiest work-around would be to have grid open twice in 'dual-pane' layout and drag drop items to where you want (if you not familiar with that, see Working with Grids and Tabs)
 
BTW, do you know is the new web clipper (or the old one) working in the most recent FF (3.0.10) ?

I'm using 3.0.10 and the IQ clipper is working fine
