Ctrl-D insert date

Submitted by markfoley on 2009/06/09 19:53
Hi,

I found a couple of things on inserting date:

a) Ctrl-D inserts date in the grid, but not in the HTML window. This window is where you'd be most likely to want to insert dates before entering updates on your current task.
b) There is a setting for long/short date style in options, but the two types of date most people would want (and in line with other tools) is date, and date+time. Normally it'd be Ctrl-D for date and Shift-Ctrl-D for Date/Time - 10/06/2009 9:52:44 AM.

So really one bug and one enhancement request! Thanks Pierre.

Thanks

Search Dialog dosen't display "Shown In" field for all records.

When I go to the search dialog and type in "drag", here is the output I get:

The "Shown In" field is blank for the 5th row when I think it should show "Links".

A similar issue is that when additional columns are added, like IDItem, they don't always display the values and the grid needs to be refreshed. This problem is rather intermittent.

Thanks,
James.

Context Hiearachy problem

Submitted by Al on 2009/06/08 22:04
I was playing around with the blank template that came with .9.24B and the context and regular hiearachy modes don't seem to work as I would expect.
The item Company ABC shows all sub-items, even though the sub-items do not meet the source criteria of the AddressBook being checked. If I were to check the AddressBook box for Called Company ABC 2 and do a refresh I get what I would expect, Parent Company ABC with only the sub-item Called Company ABC 2 showing. This is what I had to do for the Item Joe Clarkes, I checked the AddressBook for Called Joe Clarkes 2, this item had the same problem, showing all sub-items when not checked. Am I missing something?

sort bug or suggestion

Pierre, I'm not sure how to report this as you can see in the subject line but this is the situation:

I dragged a link to create an item
item = Junkluggers Junk Removal Co.
I changed the text
text = Junkluggers Junk Removal Co

In ascending / descending sort this item is out of sort order because IQ is sorting on the underlying data i.e. the link reference which starts w 'a' while the text starts w 'j'
However in column sort, i.e.
