Just had a quick look at the filters and have a couple of questions:

 

The letter filters are cool, I notice though that if I click "U" for example it looks for those that = "U" rather than those starting with U -  "U*"

 

If I then change the filter to U* in the 'welcome' grid you'd expect to see the 'user manual' row present, but it isn't there. 

 

Then I go to the to-do's and click "C" for the filter.  It shows Item = C in the toolbar, and the two items starting with C (call john, call mary) are there.

Situation:

 

user selects data from FF

user clicks 'copy content to IQ" icon

dialog appears

user can make assignments & set due date

 

Suggestion:

 

allow user to add wikitag here too

This prevents user from clicking on e-mail sender to call default e-mail client for reply, etc.

user wants to print both items

user selects items & exports to webpage

Of course it's hard to pin these ones down but after a couple of minutes of searching and clicking on search items (though I've seen this before doing other stuff) the background of the menus start to go black (ie they don't repaint), including context menus on the toolbar.  Then the grids go blank and things start generally being strange (see screenshot).  Restarting does the trick.

 

Wish I could provide specific replication steps.  Anyone else seen this type of thing?

The search window is great- it'd be good to be able to dock it like you would with the HTML pane etc.

Hi, this is one raised previously, where you insert a table and then everything goes double spaced.

 

The fix for this was hitting the 'DIV' button which converts all tags and it works well.  Questions:

 

a) In what cases would anyone want to use this odd double spaced method?

b) Could this be set as a default in the preferences (ie be able to set DIV as default instead of 'P' as it is now).  And then you can hit the <P> button if you're overcome with the need for double spacing!

 

Even if it isn't wanted as a preference, I would suggest DIV be the default as it makes the HTML pane work more like a 'note taker' which people would expect.

Some key shortcuts are still missing - eg 'new sibling' command is present but new subitem isnt.  I realise ctrl-enter is set for that, but these are all menu commands so should be treated in the same way.  This was raised as an issue some months ago and I added a note to it, but I thought I'd see if there were other comments.

It's not something I'd use too much, but when typing inline in the grid and hitting 'ctrl-b' for example, it should put your cursor in between the start and end bold tags.  Right now it adds the start/end tags but they're highlighted, so you have to click in between them to continue typing.  You're probably aware of this fact but I thought I'd mention it!  :)

Issue 0205 mentions a change of the 'select all' function from Ctrl-A to Alt-A.  However, it still shows as Ctrl-A in menu, and choosing select all from the menu doesn't work. 

 

Alt-A has its own oddness - it only selects the current column rather than all columns.
