Idea is:-

 

ability to create a link to / for the selected item via the context menu & add it to the clipboard -

then I can simply go elsewhere and paste the link

 

e.g. for this item:-

ID = 7569  

Item field text = Sagelight Editor - Receipt - PayPal

 

that would be <a href=7569>Link</a>

 

even better would be if it included, say, the first 30 characters from the Item field

I think this has been reported before.

 

Today I created several new items (clipped data) saved as MHT

When I focused on the item (nothing displayed in HTML pane)

When I shifted to another tab & returned I could see the content

Tried again & added new items same way as above

Now that I had several items w data in html panes I shifted between items

content in HTML pane did not shift as I changed focus from one item to another

Steps to recreate

In grid 1

create an new TLI
Add a child
Add a grandchild

In grid 2
create a TLI
select TLI & turn it into a link to grid 1 > grandchild
<CTRL+K>enter grid 1 grandchild ID item > close

Click newly created link

Result
Scratch pad > grid 1 / TLI w flag indicating children
dbl click on flag > displays grid 1 grandchild w flag indicating children

So, there are two notes:

1. link leads to TLI rather than correct item
2. linked item flag indicates it has children (it does not)

Perhaps
1. is by design, i.e. to provide context. That I don't know
2. has been mentioned in other threads, I think Armando had a comment on improperly flagged items & I dittoed. This is an instance that I can re-produce.

I mentioned that problem a while ago. I think it was fixed, but it's back again.

 

(Also : is it normal that the URL textbox doesn't indicate the address of the currently displayed web page, but stays blank ?)

Hi. I'm trying to change my number of locked columns from 3 to 2 in 'Manage Grids', but when I save and close the dialogue, and either refresh the grid or close it and reopen it, the number remains at 3, which is confirmed if I open the dialogue again. I do have the Item field in the #3 position... could this be part of the problem?

User creates calendar entry, category color 1 > saves

User edits calendar entry, changes category color by selecting color dot #2 > both color dots remain in display area > save

Calendar entry retains first color

Re-edit calendar entry, select 2nd color > save

Calendar entry retains 2nd color as selected

Simple text field - no equations, etc.

When I create a new item and add text to this field (by selecting field & start typing), there is always a space added at the beginning

(If I go into edit mode in field this does not happen)

 

If I then edit this field - delete it's content & add new content - there is no space added (no matter how I add text)

 

 

I've tried creating new fields with the same settings (which = no settings - basic text field) and I cannot reproduce the problem

I filter on this field and items were disappearing from the grid as I was filtering for exact content ( Field="xyz" )

 

Pierre if you still have the empty file I sent you on March 17 I can tell you which field
