Adjusting Tag Grid TEXT SIZE can cause Tag List to list [Item Font] instead of [Item]

Submitted by DragonGem on 2018/10/07 16:35

I'm loving the new TAGS feature and I've been putting it through its paces by playing around with Colors, Fonts and using Non-Alpha characters for Sorting Purposes. I've run across a strange situation where the List of Tags will display the value in [Item Font] instead of the Text value in [Item]. This seems to occur immediately after adjusting the TEXT SIZE and can be cleared up by making an Edit to the Item Text. My use of Non-Alpha characters as Prefixes to adjust Sort Order of Tags when not in Tree View may be a contributing factor but I doubt that.

Thank you. Best thing since slice bread with LOTS of butter on it!

I am one happy camper here. After my recent reversion, and playing with my new toy "tagging", I'm finally getting around to saying THANKS!
this is definitely the most fun I've ever had with software (1984 vintage hobbyist here, so that's saying something). This is about the most malleable/versatile software around.
I also truly appreciate the customer service, such as the  (probably a little too early) pre-release of the tagging version, and tweaking priorities a bit toward newcomers, (which of course led to wonderful doc pane developments, as well as the tagging).

Thanks again. I better get back to reading the 500 remaining  post-2011 forum threads, and curating  (and tagging!) 15000 items recently migrated.

(Request) convert doc pane of multiple selected items from HTML to MHT (or vice versa)

I'd like to request the ability to select multiple items, and convert the doc pane from HTML to MHT, or from MHT to HTML.
Preferably the selection could be a mix of both HTML and MHT, and one type could just be ignored, depending on the direction of the conversion.

Related previous threads never indicated if the concept was feasible:

Deleting a series of Fields

Submitted by DragonGem on 2018/10/03 16:16

I noticed a problem when deleting a series of consecutive Fields. 1. Select a Field. 2.Click the Delete Button. 3.Field disappears and next Field in list is highlighted. 4.Click the Delete button again. 5.Repeat Step 4 a few more times. 6.Close Fields Dialog and re-open it. 7.Only the 1st Field has actually been deleted.

If you use the mouse to select non-consecutive Fields everything works as expected.

I tend to prefix all my Fields to keep them sorted in the Fields Editor (i.e. carColor, carMake, carModel, carYear, etc.) so this affects more than it would most people.

Request that PP pane not resize when closing another pane

Minor issue, but should be fixed by version #1 imo:

My Properties pane is on the extreme right in IQ:
when I close e.g. the Doc pane, and the PP is adjacent, the PP takes up all the space formerly used by the Doc pane and I end up with a huge wide PP that I have to manually resize.

I think it would be best to have a fixed-width PP -- one that IQ does not mess with -- on the odd occasion that it is too wide, we can manually resize, or pin it.
