I was delighted to discover by accident that "alt + enter" creates a new sibling above the current item, but I can't find this documented anywhere. Is there a list of such commands somewhere that I am missing?
Thanks,
Lucas

see Keyboard Shortcuts - towards the bottom of that page, there's links for a few more manual shortcut pages.
(I cant vouch for how up-to-date they are.)
Note: when using the manual via the forum, this page shows it in tree view - I simply search that page.
Tom, I am using the default shortcuts and ALT+S brings up the source bar for me. Is it possible that another of your programs uses ALT+S as a global shortcut, hence the conflict?
as an avid keyboard user, I can confirm that Alt+S has always shown the source bar.
It's also been documented by various users in many places like there -- link to nonexistent node ID 145 --, or there -- link to nonexistent node ID 90 --, or there 2. Filtering, etc.
Pierre, I am using 28 (not yet upgraded to 29) with a fresh unzipping of the portable version on Windows 7. I am reporting that ALT+S brings up the source bar on my system. I am using an existing database, if that matters.
Perhaps you copied this fresh install to a previously used IQ program folder because I can confirm that the default Alt+S is Select Item

Hi Pierre,
I just copied the zip to my desktop, created a new DB and ALT+S shows the source bar. [Actually, to be more precise : the first time, I need to press ALT+S 2 times before the source bar appears.]
So if we use the new defaults, whereby Alt+S is for "select", is there some other shortcut that already exists for "Show Source Bar"? If not, what custom shortcut do people recommend assigning? (E.g., something that's both available and includes the letter S)
