Does IQ have an equivalent of tags (regardless of what IQ calls them) and if so is there any place to see a list of all tags (which would be in the hundreds) and then click on them to see notes that meet that tag criteria?

Thanks

There are different ways of creating your own tag system; any text field can be used. The WikiTag field in particular can be used as a tag field : you'll be able to see a list of tags in the "add item" dialog.

That said : no, there's no "complete" tag system in IQ. However what's missing is fairly "simple". One possible solution: the capacity for a field to accept multiple values selection. Not sure where's that on the road map.

There has been few discussions about that in the past : Wikitags & Tagging: an attempted summary

I think with 200+ tags you would probably need a hierarchical display of tags (?)
This is not possible with IQ.
AFAIK some sort of tags are planned, but dont know the details.

A hierarchical display of tags could be done with wikitags, but would have to be created manually.
I havent used wikitags in a while, but I remember them as:
Wikitags are great, but have the limitation that more than one tag would have to be added manually (the first one can be added from the drop down list - if you use that list again, the first one gets replaced).

I will have a look at it later and report back if any other comments.

A recent post about having multiple wikitags:
