I am entering data with  "Item>Insert ...>Insert Tab" and the Field display in a slight different way based on just being there on the grid or activated for editing.
I have to make a choice: either adjust the text to look right on Edit mode or on just Display mode. Is that a bug?

Just looking at the Grid without clicking in it

Clicking in the field

I have the same problem in many other fields and some have data from Surface CAD models with codes in which spacing is important
and I can be just surfacing the grid for infos or going through them to see the HTML editor and the displaying of infos changes.
I know I do not have to click in them to see the HTML but to just get there with the arrows is not practical, it is easy, fast and intuitive to just click on it.

What do you think?

Thank you

Using tabs for alignment has always been a so-so solution. In word processors, tables are recommended . In your example, there is also indeed a small display problem.

However, changing the grid font or the item font (either face or size) will also cause the display to no longer align correctly...

3 options:
  1. Using a table in the HTML pane
  2. Use the <r> tag (in the grid). This will align the files to the right
  3. Add a CR (shift-enter) and a single Tab, to give something like:

OK, it's not a bug, give and take there is a workaround.
What do you mean with the  <r> tag (in the grid) ?
I tried in the field because I don't understand where else in the grid I could type it.

I hope you get the Tab shortcut ( Ctrl+Shift+L) working soon...I am using it a lot!

Thank you.

  • <r>: if you type "some text <r> second part of some text", you'll see the second part being flush on the right side
  • Tab: You can copy the command to a toolbar for quick access
