When I go to Tools > Manage Fields and right-click on a field to get "Show Field Values," "Scratch" tab opens but shows nothing and IQ freezes. This happens on the IQ file I have password protected. When I try the same steps on "Welcome" file, I don't encounter the problem. Removing password on my file has not eliminated the problem, though.
Thanks.

Hi Alp,

Welcome to the IQ community forum. We'll try to help you resolve the issue.

Try these steps:
  1. Open the Properties pane (F4)
  2. Locate the field
  3. Right-click on the field and select "Show Items"
Does the Scratch grid open correctly showing items ?

Unfortunately, not. Going through Properties Pane freezes IQ, too.

Hi,

  1. What is the field name ?
  2. Does it happen for only one field ?
  3. If you can share more information, screen shots, video capture, it would help

Hi Pierre,

1. LastName, Phone, etc.
2. I did not check each and every field I created, but I tried multiple of them and every one of them causes the freezing.
3. Here is the screenshot:

Hi,

Most peculiar...

Two options:
  1. Make a copy of the file, mask the data and send the file over (Tools > Manage Database > Other > Mask data)
  2. Create a new grid with the source LastName and see if it loads correctly

p.s. Not related, but I'd recommend moving the file to your Documents folder, not in the App folder

Hi Alp,

Thanks for the file. I was able to reproduce the issue.
(fields were added / deleted, re-added and it got IQ a bit confused... lol)
