I did something, and now when I punch enter key in the HTML pane, the text goes into a grid cell. How do I undo it?
Thanks

Every once in a while an unexplained & very quirky thing happens in IQ. Try something simple like closing / re-opening program. That usually does it. If that doesn't work, come back
That's so odd, don't think I've ever read anything about this. Also Repair & compact might be helpful. Otherwise I think Pierre or someone else will have to help you out. Sorry
I thought that was something in the setting I'd changed by mistake. Just to be sure, let me describe it again.
When I'm in the HTML pane, and there is some text in there, and then I punch the "enter" key, the text from the HTML pane goes into the cell in the corresponding grid.
yes this is by design. If the item text is empty, IQ takes the first line of the HTML pane and copies it there. Much like MSWord does that to name your files.
With the new navigation / item creation built-into the HTML pane, that means that you can have it very large and create items without leaving the pane. Focus stays in 1 spot.

Since I didn't know this either, I made up a quick page Auto item text based on content to try to capture this. It needs work, but it'll do as a start.
I don't think so. It might be good to have an option to turn it on/off.
One work around at the moment if you don't need that feature is to create your items in advance and maybe insert a space in each item (that would become the item text, and wouldn't be replaced by what'S written in the HTML pane's first line)
