I'm having trouble with the sortbox

in particular when using desc (which I dont normally use so I dont know if I'm doing something wrong)

 

I tried "desc Itemcreated" in the sortbox - I dont tend to be very patient but I waited a while - even after closing the grid the hourglass shows.. Programme works but thought it best to restart

Now the grid that I was working on is again seizing up when I try to use sortbox (same setting again).

Even if I turn off sortbox, close + open grid, I cant expand items in this grid (some items were originally expanded but closed after the initial problem with sort -  save item state didnt work)

 

DB seems to be damaged - I'll try a repair - hmmm even after a repair I cannot expand items in this particular grid

Okay - I created another grid with the same source and it works fine even if I make all setting the same - wierd

anyone else having problems with the sortbox ??? I'm afraid to use it now . .
