per printing grids you can tag items (item > tag items) and open up a grid showing tagged items (field=ItemsTagged)

KeithB, Does this presuppose there is an itemtagged field? 'Cause I don't have one, can easily create, of course. Tks

I don't have an ItemTagged field - at least not where I can find it in the field management window.

Nor am I sure how to go about creating one as I can't find a reference as to how to instruct a newly created field to look for a tag.

If someone could help me out that would be much appreciated.

The ItemsTagged is a system field and is not visible in the field management dialog. You can however set the grid source to that field, either in the grid properties or using the source bar

Are there any other system fields not visible? I'd like to update System Fields for ItemsTagged, etc. Do the not-shown ones have an ID?

The following fields are hidden:

31	TextFields	T
32	DateFields	D
33	NumberFields	N
34	BinaryFields	B
24	ItemsTagged	N
7	ItemLocked	B

Pierre : Maybe they could be visible but editing their properties could be disabled ? It's definitely convenient to know about those for filtering purposes. Although, granted, "textfields" and "numberfields" are already available/visible from the alpha numeric toolbar...

I use itemsTagged all the time in the filter text box to hoist/dehoist quickly in a grid -- not a perfect workaround, but probably the easiest.

Tagging is another way of saying "Selected".

You can now (in the coming release) right click on the "Tagged items" section and select "View Tagged items"
