When I try to edit text within item, only the Bold, Italic, and Underline formatting buttons are available. The various "A" buttons are grayed out. Coding the font tags by hand would be a bit tedious. Is there something I can do to get the font buttons working?

Thanks,
Mark

Not currently but it is planned.

Also, an WYSIWYG editor is definitely possible, but not high on the priority list

Need to bring some attention to an item.  I found a button for changing the test color, but it does not seem to do any thing.  Broken?

Which button?

Checkout the Welcome grid to see the required codes or this page: Embedded Formatting

If you're not editing, then you can change the item font properties. These are applied to the list of fields specified in Grid > Properties > Options > Item font applies to ...

The nice thing about this, is that, in line with the IQ concept of separating data from presentation, it is the grid which defines how the item's font properties are presented. This means that in one grid, you can have items shown with varying fonts (e.g. for a group presentation) and in another one, just the text.

You can:
  • Select item font size, face, color, strikeout, underline using the Font dialog
  • Use the toolbar buttons for bold, italic, underline, strikeout
  • Increase / decrease the font size using dedicated buttons
  • Set the item back color (always applied to the whole item line)
