Ctrl+Space to check Boolean fields in properties pane used to work and it doesn't anymore

This has been the case (broken shortcut) for a few versions. Its not a huge deal, but since I'm sure fixable.

The ctrl+space shortcut is handy to rapidly check those check box without having to move to the right column.
Note that the shortcut still works in the "add item" dialog.

Thanks!

Work In Two *Seperate* IQ Windows Open At Same Time?

Submitted by David_H on 2015/01/11 21:07
1. Is it possible to initiate from within the program?  Or do I just need to launch two instances of IQ?

2. I assume it is AOK to launch two instances (on the same PC) and work in both windows at the same time?

3. I notice that if I right click on a tab there is a "New Window" command, but all that seems to do is open it again in another tab.  Is there a setting somewhere that can be changed so it actually does open a new window?

Thanks

[FIXED] HTML Editor broken in v36

Submitted by ncordle on 2015/01/07 17:12
Summary: Installed v. 36 (portable) today. Any time I try to edit an HTML note, InfoQube crashes. I can edit MHT notes in Word.

I created several new items yesterday with a html notes attached. After upgrading to v36, I tried to edit them today. First, noted that IQ appeared non-responsive, and observed the browse mode was toggled. I untoggled, and any attempt to edit html note resulted in an immediate crash.

I run on a Win7 machine and Win8, both are 64-bit systems. There is no difference. IQ crashes on both.

I also attempted to create a new database, created a new item, attempted to add a note in the html editor and it crashed immediately.

Version 0.9.26Pre-Rel36 is now available !

Hi IQ Users,

In this release:
  • New: HTML Pane: Edit cursor position (caret) is now saved.
Editing large documents is now easier as moving from an item to another will bring you back to your last edit point
  • Fixed: Grid WYSIWYG editing: Font was sometimes incorrectly set
  • Fixed: Grid WYSIWYG editing: Content was sometimes not save correctly
  • Fixed: Grid WYSIWYG editing: Font and images were not handled correctly
    [EDIT]:
  • Fixed: enhanced visuals in v35 : makes click + drag & drop less responsive
  • Fixed: When more than 1 item was selected, on drag-drop, it was possible to drop on a selected item

Do You Use IQ for Info Management? Or Only projects and tasks?

Submitted by David_H on 2015/01/04 03:30
I'm using it for personal project/task management and info management related to those projects/tasks.  And I'm loving it for that purpose.

But for general purpose information management I'm still using Evernote.  By information management I mean all of my web clippings and notes which represent the storing of information I might want to refer to, but which do not represent projects/tasks.  The main advantage Evernote has that I don't want to give up is tags, it's just too powerful to be able to clip a piece of information and be able to assign several tags to it.

For those of you using IQ for all info management, do you just use a conventional single subject hierarchy to store your information?  Are you using any additional methods?

Thanks

enhanced visuals in v35 : makes click + drag & drop less responsive

 Hello!
As described in the subject line. I can't use V35 because of that.
I often click, drag, and ... the item(s) is/are left behind. So I have to repeat the process a second and sometimes a third time.
Basically, once I've clicked, the delay before IQ registers the click & drag is quite long.
