Search and Replace (grid items): Any chance it will be implemented soon?

 Hi,

As informed in this IQ documentation (https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/?q=node/675):
"Search and Replace: Not yet implemented"
I've been using IQ for around 18 months, and I do miss this functionality, mainly to batch change items in the grid.
The "Search and Replace" for the Doc Pane would be less important in a first moment for my use case.
There is a workaround to batch rename items in the grid (https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/?q=node/4663), but I found it difficult to use in terms of interface and the requirement of VBScript to perform the operations.
Also, the workaround seems to affect all items under a certain column/field, and most of the time I want to perform replacements for selected or a range of items.
So, I'm really looking forward

scrolling grid with touchscreen swipes

It would be nice if we could scroll a grid by swiping up or down on any column.  Right now we have to swipe on the narrow scroll bar.  If we swipe on the tree column, a drag and drop is initiated.  If we swipe on another column, cells are selected.  Perhaps different functions could be performed if touchscreen swipes are done with and without Ctrl pressed (or some such combination)?

Hyperlink Title Settings

Is there an option that controls the titles of file links?

Since I upgraded to 116, the options for link titles for dragged files are reset to the default after each use.  Before the settings were sticky, as they should be.

Right now, every time I drag a file I have to change settings to get what I want.

Issues specifying placement of items within a grid

Submitted by dderkits on 2020/09/03 11:35
I have recently begun using the "Show in a New Tab" feature (accessed by right-clicking on the Tab) to have the same Grid open simultaneously under two Tabs so that I can more easily work on different sections of the same Grid without having to scroll up and down within one Tab.

I want control over the sequence/structure of the Items in my Grid, as the sequentiality of Items can be as important as the hierarchy of Items.

Here is the bug, by way of example:

I view the Grid in one of the tabs. I would like to insert a new Item on, say, line # 45, so that it is after the Item on line #44 but before the Item that is on line #45 prior to inserting the new Item (shifting this Item down one line, to line #46). When I insert the Item, it appears as expected on line #45 in that Tab, but when I click on the second Tab to view the same Grid there, the newly-created Item occupies line #1.

Doc pane problem with new installation.

I have recently replaced my laptop with a desktop machine.  The laptop was the machine with the high DPI screen.  But it was having some problems in that the batteries no longer held very much charge and some of the connectors were becoming increasingly intermittent.  The batteries were not a problem because for the past 18 months it had never moved from my desk, so I replaced it with a desktop computer.

On the laptop the document pane was crisp and sharp.
