I'm currently spending some months on a project where I often need to work with my data from my mobile device (iOS) without an internet connection. I take my notes in the form of outlines (instead of using the Document pane), so Evernote sync doesn't fit the bill. So, I've been using a much-more-limited cross-platform outliner (Logseq), but I'm starting to explore options for IQ-mobile workflows. Since I like to use 'daily notes', here's a workflow I've been experimenting with, but haven't yet perfected:

Hi. Recently went from using arrows combining angle bracket(s) with hyphen to using proper arrow symbol characters. However, IQ replaces them with ? when I type them. Yet, when I put them on the clipboard and paste them, they show up just fine. What's going on?

When I select part of a link and format it bold, it is shows as bold until I leave the item; then the bold formatting is gone.

I have read "Synchronization between computers using Dropbox" (http://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/node/3066)

1. Is the dropbox sync supposed to create multiple copies of the database (.sndb)? I only see an updated copy in the sync folder after syncing.

2. I moved the .files folder to the sync folder. /sync/MyIQBase.files as instructed (and set the path in IQ options) Is that correct? I should no longer have a copy of the .files folder in the "IQBases" folder?
