Hi IQ Users!

A long standing issue with repeating events and tasks was how to handle them outside of the Calendar.  That is, what event date should be used? 

The easy and common choice is to use the first instance and this is what IQ did. Ecco also did it that way. Google Tasks generates new items a few days prior to the next instance date.

The proposed change would be to compute the next event instance when the item is marked done. More precisely, when a change is made to the Done field, the value would be modified to be the next instance after the Done date. 

I am thinking to switching to Markdown Monster (MM) as my markdown editor.  So I set MM as the markdown editor in "Tools".  The following odd thing takes place:

On one hand, when I have MM already open and seek to editor a document file in IQ that is a markdown file, it works fine.

Just updated from 122g to 122q hoping it would resolve some of my ongoing problems working with InfoQube but othing seems better.

Current issue:

1) Copy website text, (ctrl-c)

2) Paste text in IQ (ctrl-v)

3) Instead of pasting the text, I get a dialogue asking me to select HTML format or plain text.

4) After that, I get the main paste dialogue if the text is more than one paragraph.

Has anyone experience with recovering deleted items?

I accidentally deleted items and I am afraid to use IQ until I find these items (in a backup database).

Per the release info for IQ v120b, #46 "New: View recently deleted items. Tools > Options > This Database > Data Storage > Recently deleted items. List item IDs. Click the button to view these items in a backup IQBase. Use XML copy / paste to restore deleted items"

Looking for a way to quickly move items from one grid to another via keyboard shortcuts.

Can see two ways currently:
1. Set up auto-assign rules based on specific 'tokens' in the item text. To switch an item from one grid to another, edit the item text, type in the token text, type Enter. Let the autoassign-rule remove the token from the item text, assign the new grid and un-assign the old grid.
2. Via the properties pane, but navigating to and setting values for certain fields this way seems rather complicated.

For the last 2 years, we hosted weekly Coffee Shops on Google Meet. These were of great help to new and experienced users alike. 

Starting this week, we'll host monthly InfoQube Training Sessions. If users took the center stage during Coffee Shops, the new one-hour training session will zero in on a specific IQ feature. A 10-15 minute period at the end will allow users to bring up other subjects and issues.

The subject of each session will be announced in advance so keen users can read ahead (online doc, Welcome to IQ file, etc).

When I add a subitem by form, it is missing the  Child-> Parent info and siblings.
I have one subitem under InfoQube. I added two more subitems:

"test parent added directly" Added directly
"test parent added by Form" Added by Form

I plan to import about 60 columns (and 2140- rows) of Non-Hierarchical data. I believe that I will need to manually setup the 60 corresponding fields in IQ before I do the import?

I don't think it is possible, but on the off-chance that I somehow missed it:

I have another CSV file with the 60 field names and field types, and I wonder it is possible to somehow import them into IQ to create the fields rather than to have to type them in one by one before the import?
