Here are what's coming up in v0.9.26Pre-Rel4:
  1. Improvements to the Event UI (including a summary for repeating events)
  2. Find and Replace in the HTML pane
  3. More robust method to save grid column list
  4. Fixed: Picking a particular day in New Event dialog causes crash
  5. Fixed: MHT files not always indexed, hence not found in searches
  6. Fixed/Change: In Fast Search, pressing the Enter key now forces the update of the search results list. Pressing Enter again shows the list in the SearchResults grid. Before, users had to wait 1-2 seconds to see the results list update. Pressing Enter would incorrectly show the previous result list in the SearchResults grid.
  7. New: Grid display option to show a check-mark next to the item. Shows whether an item is marked done or not.
Stay tuned !

Is it a big deal to add the capability for IQ to reopen the grids that were open when program was closed?

or a variation (just suggesting in case it's easier, or doable at the same time)
-
the ability to save a 'tab group' i.e. a group of grids that can be opened with one click
(or better still, the ability to save many tab groups)

.. hardly easier, but I throw it into the mix anyway

 Hi Pierre,

First of all, welcome back!

With no dig intended to Tom and Al, I worry about us falling into the squeaky wheel style of issue management (I have seen this with many startup products) . Like Tom and Al, I also have some features that I really want to see (and personally do not care about calendaring), but I don't think we want to get into the pattern of each of us repeating them each release (especially in the release announcement). I've continued a thread on that here Do we need to reconcile/cleanup issue tracking and voting to keep it out of the announcement thread.

Maybe a good & fair point but remember that 9.26 was slated to be the calendar version, i.e. focus was to be on the calendar, sync w google, etc. so I feel justified in my post on the subject.

Happy Thanksgiving to all those who participate.

happy thanksgiving to you (and everyone) too! In the reply box I can only see/get raw html :( so I have no idea how this'll look. (Do other have this problem too???) PS I think the point was directed at me and Al for veering /away/ from the plan...

Are you using IE10 ?

If yes, perhaps turn on IE9 emulation.

Pierre, respectfully, if it is still your intention to replace HTML w RTF, why spend time on it? Instead why not continue concentrating on the calendar as advertised?

Because it is a small effort and part of the next step, which is find and replace for the items, a long overdue feature !!! (coming soon !)
