Hi IQ Users,

In this next release:
  • New: EmailToIQ: Send content to items.
You can now send content to a project item, a task, a specific contact, a calendar event, to meeting minutes, etc
Can send to multiple items too ! Documentation can be found here: 2. Send To InfoQube using EmailToIQ
    Two syntaxes:
    • If the email subject line contains #1234, the content will appear as a subitem of item ID 1234.
    • If the email subject line contains #Some item text, the content will appear as a subitem of item "Some item text".
If more than one item have this text, will send it to the one in your favorites (if not in your favorites, to the most recent item)
  • Fixed: HTML Pane: Table row and column sizing was difficult to do on systems with IE 10 and up
  • Fixed: Changing the grid font did not update the grid, a close and re-open was necessary
  • Fixed: WYSIWYG Grid editor: Hyperlinks can now be added, edited, and removed
  • Fixed: WYSIWYG Grid editor: Enter key and cursor keys behavior is now fixed. Insert Date / Time is also fixed
  • Fixed: WYSIWYG Grid editor: Typing starts editing and appends
  • Fixed: Selecting large icons did not work (right-click on a toolbar > Customize > Options > Large icons). (Useful on high DPI displays)
  • Fixed: On high DPI displays, item height in the property pane and the search window were too small.

 Great !

In a future version, I'll make it so that filtering and sorting is not affected by in-item formatting

Thanks Pierre !
Now that other struggles are behind, will be able to test this new version !

IQ is better than ever! Thanks!

Concerning WYSIWYG, exclusively (didn't have the time to test anything else yet), it's much more fluid.
A few issues I found:

- "Toggle Case" doesn't work

- While Undo in non-WYSIWYG works (right click in cell and you can undo last words/sentence without  loosing everything, which is very useful and different than pressing ESC), it doesn't really work as well in WYSIWYG (basically same as pressing ESC)

- After activating it the first time, it doesn't seem to work right away.
-----  First case : the first time I turn the option on, if I start to type right away, the cell will turn blank, and then it'll eventually partially show an internet explorer "Navigation to the Web Page was cancelled" or something like that. If I press F2 and start typing again, it'll work. Don't have the time to test it thoroughly, but it might also be a timing issue : the component is loading pretty slowly, maybe?
-----  Second case : the first time I turn the option on, if I wait before typing, the cell will turn blank and will stay like that. If I press F2 and start typing again, it'll work. (so, no "Navigation to the Web Page was cancelled" in the item cell)

- If I start typing without pressing F2 first, the second letter of the first word is always missing.

On a positive note, AHK works better wiith WYSIWYG... Which is a big plus for me!

Can't wait to test the new features of E-mail to IQ!

Just fully tried the improved EmailToIQ feature and it works great! The HTML content is perfect, and sending the note as a subitem of another item works great to!!
Many possibilities ahead! No more reorganizing simple stuff.
Eg. I can send notes about what to buy at the store or what book to get at the library, etc. under the  right item... and when I open IQ, it's there!
Thanks!

One possible improvement :
E-mail body sent through iOS 5  (can't speak about others since I'm still using that "old" thing) are in plain text, and IQ seems to ignore New Line or Carriage Return info. All text appears as one line.
(Note that this doesn't happen HTML content is pasted in the email body.)
