I've set up Email To IQ using gmail with no issues a couple of months ago, then turned it off.  It requires setting "allow less secure devices" to on in gmail account settings, after that it should work.
 
Today I turned it back on (i.e. entered the necessary account info), and when I use the "test" button it always says "successful", but IQ never actually downloads any items into the IQ inbox grid.  Anyone else have email to IQ working at the moment with gmail?  I've performed a search to make sure the items are not being downloaded, I also tried closing and reopening IQ.
 
1. Let's say I have set IQ to query the email server every 60 seconds.  Should I see IQ doing something every 60 seconds so i know it's happening?
2. If I were to change the Option setting to "manual mode", where might I find the command to manually download email??
 
I dislike Gmail and am not married to it, this is just a way to email info into IQ, so if anyone instead has it working with Yahoo or Outlook I may just set up an account with one of those.

I just set it to connect to the account it was connecting to a couple of months ago and it won't connect to that one either.  I'm of the opinion at this point that the settings are correct in IQ, but that IQ's never actually attempting to download anything.

Thanks Pierre, my eyesight is not so great - it was that I didn't have the little enabled box on the top far right checked.  I realized I went through the same thing the first time.  That should really be lined up with the other options down below password or something like that.  Combine my subpar eyesight with the way it's so small and off to the right and my brain just processes it as a header, I didn't even realize it contained anything.
 
BTW, I have the email addresss emailtoiq@gmail.com.  Eat your heart out.

OK, I moved the Enabled checkbox with the other settings in the General section and hide the SMTP section. Clearer now.
