Included in this release:

Bug fixes:
  1. Problem with multiple parents?
  2. Import / mapping very simple csv file w 8 records
  3. Map view freezes IQ
  4. 0.9.25K losing data
  5. Import row count errors and import location point comment.....
  6. Item "Hover box" information for blank item shows other data
New Features:
This version includes an often requested feature: Persistence of both grid filter and grid sort.

Grid Filter:
  • To change / add the filter: Click on the column header and select a new criteria
  • To disable the filter:  Grid >> Column Filters or click on the yellow filter indicator (bottom left)
  • Grid filters will be re-applied when the grid is re-opened.
  • More information here: -- link to nonexistent node ID 855 --
Grid Sort:
  • Show the SortBar (Grid >> SortBar)
  • To sort on a column, click on the column header, or drag the column to the SortBar. To sort by multiple columns, drag them to the SortBar
  • To remove the sort, remove the columns from the SortBar.
  • To prevent a change to the sort order, hide the SortBar
  • Grid sorting will be re-applied when the grid is re-opened.
With both of these improvements, most users will be able to effectively manage their information without requiring the use of the Source bar, and its "complicated" SQL syntax.

Enjoy !

Comments

Thanks! (This morning I can't see the bug fix nodes *at all*... No links. Don't know about others...) :

I tested a few things :

- Still have problems with map view. very CPU intensive, choppy, and when I opened 2 maps, I couldn't close any of the 2 easily. After closing one, the other would always reappear.

- It's still possible to sort using the headers while the sortbar isn't activated (this is in Mantis somewhere), when the grid is first opened.

- Right now, filters still apply even when sort bar is hidden(at least when I click on headers when the grid first loads and the sort bar isn't even activated). Is that on purpose? If it is, users should be able to use some other mechanism to completely deactivate any column sorting with a click (maybe either 1- some button to quickly remove all sort criteria on the sort bar, 2- or maybe by just hiding the sort bar, which means one could never sort without the sort bar, not even by "right clicking on header" -> "sort...")

Is the danger to loose custom/manual sorting still there when using column sorting and then moving stuff around ?

Thanks again.
