InfoQube is Unicode compatible. This means that users can enter information in all languages.

Users can also choose the language of the IQ User Interface (UI)
  • Tools > Options > Program Settings > General > UI Language
  • Select one from the available list
  • Restart IQ
  • Note that some strings have not been translated... we're working on this.
Your native language is not available and you'd like to contribute? Great! Here are the steps to create a localization file:
  1. Copy the file AppFolder\AppFiles\String.en.tab
  2. Rename this copy where .en. is replaced with your language code (the file AppFolder\AppFiles\languagecodes-uni.tab contains the list of language codes)
  3. Open this file in any text editor, spreadsheet. You may even import it into IQ and do the editing there
  4. The file has this simple format: ID...[tab]...String
  5. Replace all strings in the file with the corresponding one in your language. Use the & to set the keyboard shortcut key
  6. Save in text format (ensure that tabs are preserved)
  7. You can follow the above steps to select your new UI language
  8. Test that strings are not too long
  9. If you send us a complete localized file, we'll gladly send you a free personal licence (a $50 value)

Example of the file:
1000    &File
1001    &New
1002    &Open...
1003    &Close
1004    &Save
1005    Save &As...
1006    Save A&ll
1007    Properties
1008    Page Set&up...
1009    Print Pre&view
