Why did we lose grid lines option?

Just updated 9.114s to 9.1116pre5.
 
What happened to the solid line option for grid lines?  I re-installed 114s to make sure I wasn't losing my mind.  Yep, the solid line option was there.
 
Could we please get the solid line option back?
 
It's a  minor point but shouldn't updates preserve previous options setting?  Several of my grid line options were changed.  Not a big deal, except it makes me wonder if other options have been changed without me noticing yet.
 
As a general rule, existing option settings should not be changed when you update, right?

Tags Column Filter Not Working

I think this is a bug but there's always a chance I am doing something wrong.
 
I have a long list of items I want to assign tags to.  To keep track of what's done and not done, I have applied a column filter to the tags column: IsBlank.
 
This should remove all items that have assigned tags, leaving the ones that still need them.
 
Cannot get it to work right.  It repeatedly shows items that have tags.  
 

Selecting Items

Selecting a single item is simple and the same for all UIs: Click on the item
 
Selecting multiple items is allowed in most UIs with specific methods that depend on the UI. IQ can show multiple items in the following UIs:
  1. Grid (Outliner with columns)
  2. IQ Surface
  3. IQ Calendar
  4. Card View
  5. Map View
  6. TimeLine View
     

1. Grid (Outliner with columns)

Grids support selecting one or more items. To select items, use any of the following methods:

Using Mouse / Touchpad

  • Click on an item. Unselects any previously selected items
  • Click to select the first item. Shift+Click on the last item: Selects contiguous items
  • Ctrl+Click to select an item keeping previously selected items (i.e.toggles the item select state)
  • Click and Drag from the first item to the last item

"Shown in n grids" for subitems

Say you do a live search that brings up a subitem, and you display it in the search grid.
 
If you look at the "Shown in n grids" section of the Properties pane, it does not necessarily show the grids where the item can be displayed as a subitem.
 
If I have Context Parents on, I can click on the Context Parent where the grid I want to display IS shown in the "Shown in n grids", but that won't take me to the subitem I was on in that grid; I have to find that subitem in that grid.
 
So, is there a way to go directly to that subitem in a grid in which it appears?  If not, could that feature be added?

Slow typing in the Document Pane

Has anyone else ever noticed a perceptible slowness of typing in the Document Pane? I know how subjective these things can be, but it's definitely there, sometimes. Seems to come and go. I notice it just now as I turn from typing in this message box to typing in the Document Pane. A moment's lag between typing and the character appearing.
