When I do a File>Save As to my kab002.sndb and fill in "atest" as the file name (which does not exist), I get "The file c:\iq\users\keith\atst.SNDB already exists. Do you want to delete the existing file and replace it with this one?"

 

1) Why does this message appear, since "atest" doesn't exist yet?

 

2) Will file>save as simply save a copy of the .sndb to another name, and keep the association to the MHT/email files? I'm trying to take a copy of my main database, and cut some of it down to develop a template.

If anyone has any IQ files or templates without personal info that they would be willing to share, I would like to post them to my blog here for new users to download and learn from.

I am trying to delete an item that came preloaded with IQ named "Web site" at which point IQ pops up a message that says "Item is locked, unlock it first".  I searched through the menus as well as this website and cannot find any reference to locking or unlocking items.  Also, it sure would be nice if there was a search box on the User Manual section (http://www.sqlnotes.net/drupal5/index.php?q=booktree), preferrably one that searches only the user manual instead of the entire site.  Also, what is up with the super weird forum reply box where I cannot do normal copying and pasting or spell checking etc.?  It's a bit frustrating.

Is ItemCreated working?  I'm assuming if this column is displayed, that if user adds a new item the date / time of this creation would appear in this column. This is not happening here.  BTW, ItemCreated is the left most column, i.e. to the left of item (don't know if that would make any difference).  Thank you.

Am having some weird HTML pane issues once in a while. It stays grey, no matter what.

 

 

Had to restart IQ to have it back to normal.

Why wouldn't you want to put 'displayed columns' under [view] instead of under [grid]'?  It seems more logical to me.
