if you press return to confirm, you get just the text <UL></UL> in the field - if you try to edit it show a placeholder for an image that it cannot find
if you delete the bullet but leave the text - then press return, everything disappears
This has been ongoing since starting to use IQ, on two different PC's. When I click on the main text area for an item, sometimes the cursor appears. Usually it doesn't. Often I have to click in and out of the item repeatedly. Other times I just start deleting to figure out where the cursor is (it's there but invisible). It's maddening. Occurs only in IQ, not in any other program. Any suggestions?
In case relevant I'm using Windows 7 with high resolution displays. 2K on the laptop, 4K on the desktop.
It's already possible to grab the HTML pane and separate it from grid. It sure would be nice if it had a simple maximize command. Preferably one that could be activated when it is docked, click maximize to do so. Then maybe click something else to dock it again? If that's not possible a simple maximize command sure would be useful.
New: Set formatting for numeric fields in the field properties. Options are Standard, Currency or user-defined. The first two are taken from the Control Panel Regional Settings
New: HTML pane: use of relative files for images to provide better for support for Dropbox et al
New: Grid: Show Pictures: If the file is not found, will try to resolve it
In this documentation on IQ the screenshots show text with the toolbar icons. Has that ability to display text with IQ icons been removed? Or was that text just a part of older icons?
It is very difficult for my eyes to scan the tons of small icons that come with IQ, being able to display text like that, at least on some of the commands, would be invaluable.
For a variety of reasons I try to minimize my use of Microsoft products, especially Office. LibreOffice is quite good and its Calc is superior in some areas to Excel. I would like to use LibreOffice with a ODC type file. I think LibreOfiice has an analogous format although I am not certain. Is this possible to do?
I have a lot of questions about IQ that would not be efficient to ask on the forum. It would also be fun to chat with some other users since there is a fairly small/dedicated group here. I'd also be happy to make a donation to cover Pierre's time (though he may be too expensive for me to afford ;) :D) as I really feel as though he deserves compensation for all the work and support he gives here.
Anyone else interested in a Google+ hangout? It allows for video conferencing and screen sharing among a group.
