Calendar questions / problems

Submitted by LM77 on 2020/11/05 11:47
1. How can I display only selected IQ calendars - for example, only appointments but not TaskActEnd?

According to the Help there's supposed to be a toggle for this, but I can't find it.

2. Gcal sync - I get a message that Google has not approved such sync for IQ ("Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app"). And while the Help says that this can be circumvented by choosing Advanced, Google doesn't currently offer me any such option.

Thanks!

Bug: Items appearing duplicated in grid until refreshing view.

Submitted by carloscadu on 2020/11/04 15:25
Hi. I’m using IQ 0.9.116h and I’ve noticed the problem since 116g.

As shown in the screen-recording (https://bit.ly/3eyNy6o), there are many duplicated items in the grid.

I checked their ID, which were the same. So the duplicates are only visual.

After refreshing the view (F5), the duplicates disappeared.

I didn’t remember what triggered the problem every time it appeared, but in the context shown in the screen recording, I had performed a column filter search (Ctrl+Shift+G) before noticing the problem.

If you need further information, please let me know.

Bug: Item numbers disappearing when hovering over the mouse pointer over them.

Hi. I’m using IQ 0.9.116h.

As shown in the screen-recording (https://bit.ly/2HVppLr), the item numbers are disappearing when hovering over the mouse pointer over them.

It seems to happen when there is no selection on the grid.

If I explicit select an item and hover over the mouse pointer, the numbers don’t disappear.

If you need further information, please let me know.

Thank you,

Carlos

Re-sizing images in doc pane

Submitted by WayneK on 2020/11/02 15:02
Have there been any changes that make it easier to re-size images in the doc pane?  I thought I saw something in a thread but i can't find anything in InfoQube.

Typical problem: pasted image is way oversized.  When I try to re-size it by dragging the corner. it's difficult to get the cursor to recognize the corner.  Either the double arrow for dragging does not show up at all, or it does show up but as soon as I start to drag it switches to a circle with a "no" crossbar. and nothing happens.

Doesn't happen every time but happens pretty regularly.

Can't do screen cap to show what I am seeing.

Folding / unfolding subitems should not alter the scroll state of the grid

Submitted by LeftEccoForIQ on 2020/10/28 04:12
When I unfold a parent with subitems so that some of these subitems would be off the bottom of the screen, the grid is scrolled upward so that more of these items appear on the screen and the positon of the parent item in the visible part of the grid is changed. When I fold the parent again, its position reverts to what it was before. I find this very disorienting. Strangely, I have one grid where this isn't happening, not sure why. Anyway, I'd rather do all the scrolling myself - or alternatively if only the first jump in the grid happened (moving the item towards the top when unfolding) without jumping back to the previous scroll position when folding again, that would be fine by me. Thanks!

How do I filter for ItemSkipStyle:True

Submitted by Outlinely on 2020/10/27 14:56
Hello all,

I am new to IQ-IM but not to outlineres in general, so I've lately been trying to bend the free IQ Outliner to my will.

Using the excellent [node:4940,title="primer"] by Cyganet, I've now set up a single-pane outliner, and experimenting with its different exports.

I really like the possibility to export non-heading items only, but I would also really like to construct a grid likewise only displaying normal text without any of their associated headers.

It ought to be possible to make a grid filtering for content items, as they all have the attribute ItemSkipStyle:True, but exactly that attribute seems nowhere to be found in the Item Properties pane.

My goal is to have my actual outline hidden/underlying, leaving only my different headings' asscociated text items concatenated into one te
