Possible to paste image from clipboard into IQ Doc Pane in PNG format (instead of JPG) or set the compression level?

Hi, 

I'm trying to write a manual using IQ, needing to export and distribute later, and the quality of the images pasted on Doc Pane is a bit degraded for that purpose, probably because of the default compression applied by IQ. Also, considering the defaults, the image is stored in JPG.

 

a) Does IQ provide a setting to allow pasting images in PNG format?

If it is possible to paste as PNG the degradation would be avoided.

 

b) If it is not possible to store as PNG, is there any way to set the JPG compression applied by IQ?

display of implicit parent tags

I've done some bulk tagging operations today, and when I tag items with child tags, the parent tags are not immediately shown as being implicitly tagged.  I tried different things to get the implicit tags to show as checked, e.g. F5, Ctrl+S, but then I finally succeeded when I closed and reopened the tags pane.  I guess right click > Refresh List in the Tags pane would do the same thing.
 
When I tagged a single item with a child tag, the implicit parent tags were checked without the need for any such manual intervention.

auto-assignment rules - how to trigger

According to http://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/?q=node/128, auto-assignment rules can be triggered as follows:
 
  • A:  Update target field when the current field is added (initially no value in the current field)
  • M:  Update target field when the current field is modified (initially there is a value in the current field)
  • E:  Update target field when the current field is erased (the current field had a value and you deleted it)
Say you already have a value in the current field for an item, but now you want to create a new auto-assign value to push a value to a target field, or set a tag for that same item, without modifying the existing value in the current field for

If possible, I think it would be good to be able to enter equations into grid cells.  Instead of applying to all values for a given field in the database, the equation would apply on a per-item basis - only to those cells to which the equation has been entered or copied.  It would work very much like entering formulas into spreadsheet cells, easily copied and pasted, and would therefore be something everybody is familiar with.  More intuitive than dealing with equations in the Manage Fields dialog.
