Entering {tab} when editing in grid?

Submitted by LeftEccoForIQ on 2019/11/13 02:57
Stupid question: How can I do this? I tried pressing the key, pressing Alt+009 on the numpad and using copy/paste from an editor but no success. I then tried the item editor, but even there it didn't seem to work. I could probably do it using HTML code? Ecco had a shortcut for entering tabs in items, I think (Ctrl-T), maybe we could use something like Shift-Ctrl-T in IQ? Thanks!

Edit: I then tried pasting a few tab-aligned lines from Word, but in IQ quite a few of them ended up out of alignment. Maybe it's just not a good approach for IQ items?

“X” to be clicked to close the grid tab is disappearing

 Hi,

Reporting a possible bug. I’m using IQ 0.9.114m.

As shown in the screencast (http://bit.ly/2KafYWk), the “X” to be clicked in order to close the grid tab is disappearing when I hover over the mouse on it, being impossible to close the grid tab through this method.

If you need further information, just let me know.

Best,

Carlos

Run-Time Error Crash

Submitted by WayneK on 2019/11/11 10:57
Don't know if this will be helpful since it's not reproducible but I've had maybe 5-6 program crashes while working with tags.  Doesn't happen often (once every couple of weeks).

It's always the same sequence:

1) Open tags grid and select tag item

2) Hit return to create new tag

3) Error message pops up: Run-time error xxxxxx
(Error message disappears before I'm able to do a screen capture)

4) All open tabs close one by one, followed by the program.

5) On re-start, all open tabs are restored with nothing lost

Get color chart back?

Submitted by WayneK on 2019/11/05 00:35
My fill color tool brought up a display that had:

1) My custom colors at the top.
2) A nice color chart at the bottom provided automatically.

After adding a few more custom colors, the color chart has disappeared.  Is there a way to get this back and still keep my custom colors?

Edit HTLM externally in Word, with a round trip into InfoQube

Submitted by carloscadu on 2019/11/04 15:55
 Hi,

I’d appreciate your help.
I realized how to open/edit an MHT file in MS Word.
Is there any workaround to do the same with the native HTML from InfoQube DocPane?
I do need to use Grammarly and ProWritingAid spell checking, and MS Word holds both as plugins. So if I could open the HTML from InfoQube into Word, perform the spell checking and even other tasks, then save the file, and having the editing magically appearing in InfoQube is what I’m looking for.

Thank you!
Carlos
