Wow, thanks for pointing out that possibility! However, I seem to have encountered a bug trying to go through with it. When the "Shortcut" field in the right-click context menu for customizing the 'today' toolbar button has focus, I can not enter any key combinations with modifiers, i.e. I can only enter 't' or 'T' but not Shift-Ctrl-t or anything like that involving Alt or Ctrl...
I think I'm doing it the way it's meant to be done, but for the life of me, I can't get any modifiers to be added to the shortcut for this or any button I try to customize. The field will only accept unmodified keys or capital letters...
The process of assigning a shortcut is different in the dialog and in the context menu:
Dialog: Click in the 'Press new shortcut key' text box and press the actual shortcut keys you want to use (i.e. press the Ctrl key plus the A key to set Ctrl+A as the shortcut
Context menu: Click the 'Shortcut' text box and type the shortcut as text (i.e. type Ctrl+A)
Another flagrant case of RTFM then! Very sorry, my apologies.
Got it to work now, but the keyboard shortcut has no effect unless focus is on the calendar pane. I can AHK-script around that though, so no big deal. If focus could stay in the grid while the calendar was still reset to today's date, I guess it would be more usable.
