I've built a pop-up box that uses a grid for its source, as detailed here. All the items in the box are in the order of original entry. They are now in alphabetical order and I would like to see them in the box in the same order that they are in the grid.

Humm... when I try it, it works correctly. If you can reproduce it with a sample IQBase, please send it over

I've attached a file, but I don't think my problem is with the pop-up box, but rather that when I change the order in the grid FileType, it does not stay changed. When the FileType grid is reopened, the items are back in their original order of entry.

the SortBox is the only sort that is currently saved after refresh or close of grid - if you're not familiar with it have a look here 5. Sorting and Grouping Items * (also see other methods of sorting there)

in Items, Values and Views it's called the Sort Box. But don't know if there's a fixed convention (there should be, of course)... I usually call it the "sort text box".

I want to mention, for those who might be looking at this later, that the sort box is part of the Source Bar, it is distinct from the Sort Bar which is under it in the Grid menu.
