email clipper for The Bat!

Pierre, In your spare time    could you look at The Bat! from RitLabs.

I think they offer an easy way to integrate with their email client. It's an extremely fast product which I used to use & am switching over to again. I'm wondering if you could create a clipper for it as well. Thanks for your consideration. Jan

Forms

I have a grid that has several check box columns. Several items have been ticked under column A, but most have not. I now want to untick the few items in column A and tick all of the items in column B. Unless the last selected item in one that has column A ticked, column a does not appear to be ticked at all (not grayed as in Windows convention, but blank) in the properties pane. Unless I have column A displayed in the grid and visually examine it, I will not know its correct status. Under this and similar conditions, the property pane provides incorrect information. This makes it useless if I want the grid to display the item only.

What gives?

Auto search glitch

Submitted by Jon on 2012/02/28 13:37
This happens erratically, but frequently. I have auto search disabled in my grids. I close IQ. After restarting IQ, I find unexpected behavior when I start to type. The reason is that auto search is now enabled.

I did not enable it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Using W5.

Default Grids to display on start-up

Submitted by vortsg on 2012/02/21 10:37
I am trying to determine is there is a way to identify specific grids that will display every time I start InfoQube.  Here is my scenario.  Currently, I have 9 grids created.  I typically use 3 of those grids heavily every day and the others less frequently.  I would like InfoQube to automatically display my 3 heavily used grids whenever I start InfoQube.  I can then display any of the others as needed.  InfoQube appears to remember the last selected grid and displays only that grid on the next start-up.  At least this is what I think is happening.

I imagine that either what I am after is not possible, or I just do not have the knowledge.  I have searched the forums and docs and have not found anything describing this.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Printing Issues

There were a few threads that discussed grid printing issues.

I'd like to combine these into a single thread. Could users comment the difficulties here...

I have to jump through hoops to get a presentable and acceptable print-out. I should be able to print directly from IQ, but I cannot. Ecco is notorious for poor printing, but it shines in comparison.

  1. Presumably this is grid printing (not HTML pane printing).
  2. Which grid printing did you use ? With what settings ?
  3. Did you require columns ?
  4. Gantt ?
  5. Didn't the WYSIWYG printing do the job correctly ? and why not ?

Export to Excel not working properly

[Export to Excel & HTML not working properly]

I havent exported anything in a long time.

Tried exporting to Excel and to HTML today without success.
First with a hoisted grid
Second with a simple grid

with Excel I get the message:
[Error exporting to file F:IQBilling.xls]
edit/ for some reasons the backslashes are stripped out of the path when I post here - they were there in the message

With HTML
I get a file with no content (no matter what is selected in the grid)
see also below (worked for Sample grid with the same settings)
