After having disconnected a google calendar, how to delete ALL the calendar's event leftovers?

Submitted by carloscadu on 2020/05/31 10:09
 Hi,

I'd appreciate your help.
After having disconnected a google calendar, the calendar's events are still there.
They just exist as events in the calendar view; they aren't IQ items.
Before connecting another calendar, how to delete ALL the previous calendar's event leftovers at once, batch operation?

Thank you,
Carlos

Auto-assignment rule for a pop-up list field

Submitted by Alp on 2020/05/29 11:44

Hi,

I'd like to assign specific tags to items with a pop-up list field depending on the values in that particular field using auto-assignment rules. That way, I'd like to reap benefits of both pop-up list field as well as assigned tags.

Let's say 'City' field has three alternative values through a pop-up list: CityA, CityB, and CityC to which I'd like to assign tags #CityA, #CityB, and #CityC, respectively. Albeit rarely, I will need to modify City field value of items so that I will need all three flags, A:, M:, and E:, for my auto-assignment rule.

I tried to adapt "HasKeyword" function for this purpose, but couldn't get it to work. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Alp

Grids converted to panes stopping to work, becoming inactivate (IQ v0.9.115e)

Submitted by carloscadu on 2020/05/29 08:54
 Hi,

I'm using IQ v0.9.115e, although this issue has happened since several versions ago.
For the grids converted to panes, they will stop working, becoming inactivate (snapshot below).
The problem can happen during a regular IQ session at some point, eventually after days of use.
But when you load a saved layout, the problem occurs very often.

"Show All Sub-Items" performing the same output as "Show Main Sub-Items". Bug?

Submitted by carloscadu on 2020/05/26 10:51
 Hi,

As shown in the screencast (https://bit.ly/36wETND) "Show All Sub-Items" performing the same output as "Show Main Sub-Items".
For the given example, I was expecting that "Show All Sub-Items" would reveal the 4 levels of the outline.
Is it a bug?

Thank you,
Carlos

'Highlight focused cell' disabled - another tiny problem

Submitted by LeftEccoForIQ on 2020/05/24 11:05
I noticed that with my favourite option ('Grid|Highlight focused cell') disabled, when dragging (top-level) items upwards in the grid, there is a slight glitch that produces a selection of two items after the drag operation rather than no item being selected / highlighted. To reproduce:
1. Drag up on an item moving the mouse pointer only a few millimeters so that the horizontal red drag indicator will show but that the item won't actually be moved as it will be dropped back in the same position when releasing the mouse button. The result is a selection of the dragged item and the item above it.
2. The same will happen when dragging up to a higher position and moving the mouse pointer to just above the horizontal red drop indicator (but not so far that it will be repositioned).

[fixed] How do I get EmailSender and EmailRecipient for EmailToIQ

Submitted by Cyganet on 2020/05/24 10:24
Hi,

I would like to populate the EmailSender and EmailRecipients fields when importing emails via EmailToIQ. I have edited the list of fields in option 2.3.4 "Always assign these fields" to say "Inbox, EmailDate, Emails, EmailSender, EmailRecipients".
However, when importing new emails, the final two fields are still blank. This didn't change when I restarted InfoQube. What else do I need to do?
Thank you,
Cyganet

[Fixed] Possible Bug: IQ Tabs Closing

Submitted by megatron on 2020/05/22 10:57
I have a dual monitor setup with IQ (version 0.9.115e 2020-05-15) open on one monitor and a web browser open on the second. While I am using the web browser, and it is the active application on the second monitor, middle clicking will sometimes close a tab in IQ. Worse, holding down the middle button and dragging the mouse downward (as if to read a page) causes multiple tabs to close. I have been able to replicate the problem, but the behavior is not consistent.

Any help troubleshooting is appreciated.
