Hi IQ Users!

Following Evernote change to the free plan (50 notes max), it was clear that IQ had to find a more suitable "partner" app. Notion and Obsidian were natural candidates.

In the end, Obsidian was chosen, for a number of reason, in good part because of its excellent mobile app. As a bonus over Evernote, Obsidian supports Properties, so item values will transfer too.

We're of course using IQ to define how sync will work. And Card View is ideal to view the content of multiple items 😯👌

Has anyone created a 'default' color / colour palette for dark mode?

I see each file now has an extra set of named colours for dark mode. But they are currently the same as for regular mode. I'm presuming text remains a light colour no matter what the highlight colour is, so I'm wondering if anyone has done the work to figure out a functional selection of colours that are dark enough to display the item text properly? And willing to share your choices here?

Disclaimer - I have never used multi-monitor setup (so completely ignorant here...)

• Can I spread the one instance of IQ over two monitors? e.g. have properties pane and Doc pane on a second monitor.
• Or are there other good options e.g. same database opened in a different IQ instance on each monitor?

Since one of the recent upgrades, the item text for maybe half my calendar events is now shown in bold. I have not been able to find a way to revert / toggle this off in the calendar itself and I don't think I've brought it about myself. When I copy the item text to a blank item in a grid, it will also show up in bold. Toggling bold on / off at the grid level also does not have an effect. When I edit the item in the grid, the text is surrounded by a <b></b> HTML tag.

Currently spacing between multiple lines within an item seems to be more or loss identical to the spacing between two items. A custom setting would be nice to have for me.

How do I embed iframes in the content area?

The <iframe> tag doesn't work.

Since updating to 124.2, new item fill colors won't show unless the grid is refreshed.  The color call out does show up immediately in the ItemColor field but color doesn't appear on the screen until a refresh is done.  This occurs only with newly-created fills.  All the old fill colors appear to be intact.

I like to use bullet lists inside items by using shift-return to create new lines:

• bullet 1

• bullet 2

• bullet 3

Since updating to 124.0 and 124.2, I get this:

• bullet 1 • bullet 2 • bullet 3

I couldn't find any settings that controls this.
